Really like the quality of the materials and relative ease of installation. The provided mounting plates wouldn’t fit in the unistrut channel but I used 3/8 x 1”bolts and spring nuts and everything worked fine. Like the added flexibility the rack gives me for cargo tie-downs.

The rack itself is exactly as described. But on the Ridgeline you must purchase two sections of Unistrut. Which is pointed out on the sales website. The Unistrut then bolts to the frame of the bed at three points along the Unistrut. But these are only 10mm screws and I find that troublesome. These three screws are the weak point in attaching the rack. Also should note that you need to drill into the Unistrut because the middle mount point is not aligned with the slot already in the Unistrut. Another Issue I had with mounting the rack is the tabs on the rails that sit on the bed sides did not come down far enough to go below the bottom rail of the Unistrut. So I needed to go back to the box store and purchase magnet mount 1/4" square washers for Unistrut. This fixed the mounting problem. But just understand you need to not only purchase the Unistrut sections, but also the spring inserts the bolts go into, the bolts, and in my case the washers. While I'm not ecstatic, this rack will work. But Honda needs to do better. The Ridgeline is sold as a pickup truck. And in this part of the country pickup trucks have headache racks. This rack mounting system is a compromise at best. It would not be a huge engineering feat for Honda to design a sturdy rack mount system on bed of the truck that matches the strength of the rack itself.

Very little are available for Honda. Yours gives multiple options and the customer service is great. Wish there were locations locally to see the options in person before blindly hoping items will work. They did work.
