I love this rack system!! It’s tough, sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because the instructions are very vague leading to lost time during assembly. The other reason would be bolt hole patterns. I’m not sure why they are not the same on the crossbars of the headache rack and the back crossbar. I also, don’t like how you have to take off the Tuwa “wedge” piece in order to install side bars unless you have the rack fully extend to its tallest position. Another problematic area is the top/side bars. They have to be extended past the maximum position to fit my 5’8” bed. I’m not sure how they’re going to hold up. I also wish it was more of a universal build in order to be able to attach other equipment like kayak saddles or at least offer products that will Mount to it. Other than all of that, it’s a really good rack.
Hello there Jacob, thank you for taking the time to comment! We really appreciate your positive review, we are amazed on how incredible your GMC looks with our rack on. Have fun and remember to stay wild.
I love the Tuwa Moab rack system. It’s sturdy and made of good material. Ascetically it is very nice as well. My only complaints are that the installation instructions are very vague. It took me 8 hours to assemble, install and adjust the rack. The roof/side bars a good as well. They could afford to be a little longer though. I have a 5’ 3/4” short bed on my GMC Sierra and I have the bars adjusted past the max line.
