- Does this work with the in-bed rail in the Toyota Tacoma? A: Yes it does, you can install it by using our channel nuts that will slide inside your rail allowing you to bolt the brackets directly into it.
- Does this offer cabin clearance for my Toyota Tacoma? A: The Shiprock Bed Rack System offer cabin clearance for your Toyota Tacoma, the Shiprock Mid Rack System does not (12.5")
- Is your product compatible with a tonneau cover? A: Yes! Our system is compatible with selected tonneau covers. Please refer to our Cover Compatibility List
- Can I install a RTT? A: Yes, by adding the 4CX ROOF/SIDE BARS you can actually adjust the distance between both bars to match the rails of any Roof Top Tent in the market and you will be able to bolt it directly into our 4CX ROOF/SIDE BARS with the factory clamps that come with the RTT.

Bed Rack Systems must be installed in accordance with Tuwa Pro installation guide. The Limited Lifetime Warranty is effective for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product and the warranty terminates when the original retail purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product to any other person.
Damage to our products caused either by accidents, fire, vandalism, negligence, any type of modifications to the products, mis-installation, or mis-use is not covered by this warranty.

Lots of nuts and bolts but once it is installed you realize that all of that makes it sooo sturdy. I'm really excited about my new rack

I purchased this rack for hauling a RTT, Kayaks and Mtn bikes. I love the optionality of the rack. There were no installation instructions for the rack and the packing list stated 20 minute installation. 5 hours later I finished the installation. My Tacoma is the Trail model and I needed to trim the T slot mounting bracket for the rack to sit on the flush on the bed rail. I read that Tuwa is moving to online instructions but I didn't find anything helpful. I would suggest listing common instructions for common configurations of the rack for each make and models of trucks.

Customer service was very quick to respond when I was enquiring about Tonneau Cover fitement. I have a Peragon Bed Cover, so it's not as common as many of the easy-to-install covers out there. I needed to know if it would work and they were very helpful. I even sent images of my current set up to make sure.
Shipping was fast and took a few days to get all the boxes. I even called to order a couple more mounts and bars and they were able to ship out the same day! In my conversation, I was inquiring about extra bolts and nuts and they helped me with that without me knowing!
The Shiprock Bedrack itself is a great concept for what I do. My work takes me out into the mountains and deserts throughout the year for photography, so compatibility with my Tonneau Cover was a must. On these ventures, I utilize a Roof Top Tent and I am able to adjust the height so it would fit over the cab. The heights are 17", 20" and 23" and this rack is capable of those adjustments right out of the box. You don't have to order extra parts or even order a brand new rack!
23" will be for my RTT and Kayak trips, 20" will be when I don't carry the RTT and replaced with my Mountain Bikes, and 17" for when I just need the rack by itself.
The Support Bars at the top can be used on the side for extra mounting. That's how I use them to mount my Rotopax, Water Pack, and traction boards.
Eventually, I'll take the back support off and only use the front part of the rack and use it as a headache rack.
I love how you don't have to commit to just one type of setup with height or length. Both can be adjusted as you need it to.
My truck is a Daily Driver, Work Truck and an Adventure Rig. The modularity of this bed rack helps me use my truck the way I want to use it!
