Who are Denae & Michael Dorrett?

We are a couple who share a love for adventure. Hailing from two separate worlds, we have found a mutual passion using our vehicle to explore areas off the beaten path. Denae experienced the joys of the Washington state wilderness with her family – everything from hunting and fishing to off-roading and water sports. Mike spent his younger years turning wrenches on classic vehicles and experiencing a true gear-head

life, then later grew to enjoy the outdoors and developed an interest in firearms.

Tell us about your Jeep Gladiator.

We have always loved the looks of the original Gladiator, and it was a small dream of ours to get our hands on the soon-to-be released model. In 2021 we made the decision to purchase our firecracker red chariot. We started the build with a purpose, and that purpose was simple; we wanted to enjoy places that most are not able to adventure and to have a comfortable place to rest our heads. The Jeep is a representation of who we

are, and provides us with further freedom to explore.

What TUWA Pro products do you have and how have you set them up?

We never leave home without our RTT on the truck. Our TUWA Pro Shiprock adjustable rack carries it nicely, along with all of our off-road and camp lights, which are all easily controlled with one touch of our Auxbeam switch. We are also able to carry our TUWA Pro RotopaX mount adaptors, so that we have ample water out on the trail, and our TUWA Pro traction board mounts, so that they are readily available in case of

emergencies.

What is a bucket list adventure for you?

One of our ultimate dreams is to ship the Jeep internationally – to experience the history of Eastern Europe, then end the trip in Croatia. One of our nearer goals, however, is to head south into Baja so that we can spend the winter paddling the Sea of Cortez and enjoying the amazing desert scenery.
